Galvanised Steel Mast Base for Tubes up to Ø 60 mm
This steel mast base provides a robust solution for securing antenna masts and suitable tubes with a diameter of up to 60 mm.
The design is intended to help prevent unwanted rotation of the mast. This is particularly important for satellite dishes and directional antennas, as movement or rotation of the mast can affect antenna alignment and reception quality.
The mast base is manufactured from 2.7 mm quality steel sheet. All steel components are galvanised.
An 8 mm U-bolt with two nuts secures the mast tube in position.
The mast base also features a threaded earthing terminal screw. Two 8 × 50 mm wood screws are included for installation on suitable timber substrates.
Suitable for mast tubes up to Ø 60 mm
The mast base can accommodate suitable tubes with an outside diameter of up to 60 mm.
Typical applications include:
satellite antenna masts
DVB-T/T2 installations
terrestrial antennas
directional antennas
suitable radio antennas
other compatible mast structures
The actual mast diameter should always be checked before installation.
Anti-rotation mast fixing
A secure mast connection is particularly important for directional antenna systems.
If a satellite mast rotates, the alignment of the dish changes at the same time. This may reduce signal quality or result in loss of reception.
The mast base is therefore designed to provide a stable and rotation-resistant mounting point.
2.7 mm quality steel sheet
The mast base is manufactured from 2.7 mm thick quality steel sheet.
This robust construction provides a strong mechanical base for typical antenna installations.
The load capacity of the completed installation depends on the entire mounting arrangement, including:
mast diameter
unsupported mast length
antenna size
antenna weight
wind surface area
supporting structure
mounting hardware
installation location
Galvanised steel components
All steel components are galvanised.
The coating provides basic corrosion protection for typical antenna and technical installation environments.
Ø 8 mm U-bolt with two nuts
The mast tube is secured using an 8 mm diameter U-bolt.
Two nuts allow the mast to be clamped securely in position.
Threaded earthing terminal screw
A threaded earthing terminal screw is integrated into the mast base.
Depending on the antenna installation, this connection point may be used as part of a properly designed earthing or equipotential bonding system.
The actual requirements depend on the installation location and overall antenna system and must be assessed according to the applicable technical requirements.
Two 8 × 50 mm wood screws included
Two 8 × 50 mm wood screws are included.
They are suitable for appropriate load-bearing timber substrates.
For concrete, masonry, metal or other materials, suitable installation hardware must be selected separately.
Typical applications
The mast base can be used for:
satellite dish installations
terrestrial antennas
DVB-T/T2 systems
directional antennas
replacement of existing mast bases
retrofit installations
antenna service and maintenance
new mast installations
