The QUICK TSS10C-1.6D-03 is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 200W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is designed for fine to medium soldering work with well-controlled heat transfer. With its straight chisel shape, 1.6 mm width, 1.0 mm chisel thickness and slim design, it is especially suitable for applications where precision, good visibility of the solder joint and efficient heat transfer are required.
The chisel geometry is one of the most versatile tip shapes in electronics work. It allows clean positioning on pads, traces and component leads while transferring more heat to the joint than very pointed or needle-shaped versions. This is a clear advantage in fine electronics work because the joint can be heated in a controlled way without the tip becoming unnecessarily coarse.
The slim design additionally improves access to densely populated assemblies, closely spaced leads and difficult-to-reach areas. At the same time, the chisel tip still provides sufficient contact area, so the heat transfer remains far more practical than with purely point-shaped tip geometries. This makes the tip well suited for through-hole components, smaller plug contacts, finer cable material, smaller to medium pads, rework, service and repair tasks.
The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300°C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating. An integrated thermocouple and the integrated chip for the individual calibration value support reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station.
