The QUICK TSS10C-1.6D-01 is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 200W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is designed for controlled soldering work with fine to medium thermal demand. With its straight chisel shape, 1.6 mm width and 1.2 mm chisel thickness, it is especially suitable for fine to medium soldering tasks where clean work, good accessibility and reliable heat transfer are required.
The chisel geometry is one of the most versatile tip shapes because it allows precise positioning on smaller joints while also offering good heat transfer via the flat contact edge. Compared with very pointed shapes, this version transfers heat more efficiently into pads, leads and traces without becoming too coarse for finer work. This makes the tip very well suited for through-hole components, finer cable material, plug contacts, small to medium pads as well as repair and rework on assemblies.
The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300°C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating. An integrated thermocouple and the integrated chip for the individual calibration value support reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station.
For very large, massive or strongly heat-dissipating connections, wider tip shapes are usually better suited. For extremely fine special work, even smaller tip geometries can offer advantages. The TSS10C-1.6D-01 is positioned in between as a versatile solution for many classic electronics soldering tasks.
