The QUICK TSS10B-12P-01 is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 300W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is designed for applications with very high thermal demand. With its straight rectangular block shape, 13 mm width and 8.5 mm thickness, it provides a large thermal mass and a very large contact area for powerful surface heat transfer on large, massive or strongly heat-dissipating workpieces.
The massive tip geometry is specifically intended for broad and forceful heat transfer. This makes it particularly suitable for large contacts, terminal tabs, heavy cable connections, connectors, lugs, sheet metal parts, large copper areas and other heat-intensive joints. The tip is also well suited for tinning larger surfaces as well as for repair, production, assembly, maintenance and power electronics applications. Compared with classic chisel tips, this shape is even more focused on maximum heat capacity and uniform heating of larger areas.
The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. This supports fast heat transfer to the solder joint and quick thermal recovery under load. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300°C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating even in highly demanding applications. An integrated thermocouple provides real-time temperature monitoring during operation.
In addition, the tip includes an integrated chip that can store the individual calibration value. When the tip is used again, this value remains available and supports reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station. Due to its large rectangular block geometry, this tip is primarily intended for heavy, broad and heat-intensive soldering work. For very fine electronics work, small pads or delicate SMD solder joints, narrower tip shapes are usually the better choice.
