The new PXU 848 C/T multiplexing headend converts the content of eight SAT transponders, terrestrial or cable channels into either DVB-C (QAM) or DVB-T
(COFDM). The multiplexing function enables the creation of new output channels with content from different input transponders. A smart card can be used to decrypt the content from different transponders and make optimum use of the smart card’s capacity.
