ERSA i-TIP CLEANER – automatic soldering tip cleaner with plastic brushes
The ERSA i-TIP CLEANER with plastic brushes supports routine soldering tip cleaning in electronics production, servicing, laboratories and training environments. Two rotating plastic brushes quickly and gently remove contaminated solder residues from the hot soldering tip. The dry cleaning process avoids the thermal shock caused by contact with a damp cleaning sponge.
With sensor mode activated, the proximity sensor automatically starts the brushes when the soldering tip is inserted into the cleaning opening. The soldering iron remains in the operator’s hand, with no additional button press required to start cleaning. Continuous operation is also available. Two brush speeds can be selected using the single control button, while an LED indicates the current operating status.
The ESD-safe housing features a grounding connection. A weight of approximately 2 kg helps keep the unit stable on the workbench. For routine maintenance, the drawer can be pulled out to remove collected residues and replace the pair of plastic brushes when worn.
An M8 connection for soldering robots supports integration into automated soldering processes. The USB-C port is used for firmware updates. Power is supplied through an external power adapter with interchangeable country plugs.
