Wrist grounding, a safe method for discharging electrostatic charge from persons, consists of an adjustable wristband with woven silver-plated plastic fibers (close skin contact necessary) and a coiled cable that connects the bracelet to the grounding point via snap fasteners (DK) in an electrically conductive manner. The coiled cable contains a safety resistor of 1 MOhm on each connection side and is approved for use at workplaces with a nominal voltage of up to 250 VAC. To ensure adequate insulation, the wristband must only be stored in a dry place.

Regularly check your ESD workstation equipment and your ESD tools to ensure that work complies with ESD standards (IEC 61340-5-1).
Washing instructions for the wrist strap: Standard machine wash up to 30° C with color and mild detergent, dry at low temperature (gentle), do not bleach! Avoid contact with acidic / alkaline solvents. ESD protection remains for about 30 washings.
