ERSA i-TIP CLEANER – Automatic Soldering Tip Cleaner with Brass Brushes

The ERSA i-TIP CLEANER with brass brushes is an automatic soldering tip cleaner for electronics production, servicing, laboratories and training environments. Two rotating brass brushes remove residual solder quickly and gently. The dry cleaning process requires no water or damp sponge.

In sensor mode, the integrated proximity sensor detects the metal soldering tip as it enters the cleaning opening and automatically starts the brushes. The soldering iron remains in the operator’s hand, with no additional button press required to begin cleaning. This allows tip cleaning to fit directly into the workflow between soldering operations.

Sensor mode, continuous operation and two brush speeds allow the cleaner to be configured for different working requirements. A single function button controls the settings, while an LED indicates the operating status. The unit’s weight of approximately 2 kg helps keep it stable on the workbench.

A removable collection drawer provides access for emptying solder residues and replacing the brass brush pair. An ESD-safe housing with a grounding connection supports use at electronics workstations. The M8 connection also allows integration into automated soldering processes. Power is supplied by the included external power adapter with interchangeable regional plugs.
