The QUICK TSS10B-4D is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 300W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is designed for soldering work with medium to increased thermal demand. With its straight chisel shape, 4.0 mm width and 4.0 mm chisel thickness, it offers a very good combination of strong heat transfer, controlled guidance and versatile usability. This makes the tip especially suitable for applications where more heat has to be transferred to the joint without immediately switching to very wide or particularly massive tip geometries.<\/p>\n
The chisel geometry is one of the most practical tip shapes because it can work effectively not only with the front edge but also with the side surface. Heat can therefore be transferred in a targeted yet still broad way. This is a major advantage for solder joints with medium to increased thermal demand. The tip provides more contact area than fine pointed versions while remaining more universal and better controlled than very wide specialty tips.<\/p>\n
Typical applications include cables, plug contacts, solder tabs, medium-sized pads, stronger traces and general electronic connections. It is also very well suited for rework, repair, assembly work and service applications. The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300\u00b0C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating. An integrated thermocouple and the integrated chip for the individual calibration value support reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station.<\/p>\n
For extremely fine SMD work or very tight component spacing, smaller tip shapes are usually the better choice. For especially large, massive or strongly heat-dissipating joints, wider tip geometries can offer advantages. This 4.0 mm chisel tip is positioned right between those extremes as a very well-balanced solution with high practical usability.<\/p>\n
