The QUICK TSS10B-10D is a High Performance rapid cartridge soldering tip in a 300W version for the QUICK TS10 soldering station and is designed for soldering tasks with high thermal demand. With its straight chisel shape, 10 mm width and 3.5 mm chisel thickness, it supports efficient surface heat transfer on large pads, connectors, sheet metal parts, massive traces, ground areas and other solder joints with high heat absorption. This makes it especially suitable wherever significantly more heat input is required than with fine electronics tips.<\/p>\n
The broad chisel working surface helps transfer heat effectively and evenly into the solder joint. This is particularly useful for large solder pads, heavy cables, stranded wires, wire connections, lugs, tabs, contacts and PCBs with large copper areas or heat-draining components. The tip is also well suited for tinning larger contact areas as well as for repair, production, assembly and power electronics applications.<\/p>\n
The TSS10 series combines soldering tip and heater in one direct unit. This supports fast heat transfer to the solder joint and quick thermal recovery under load. In combination with the QUICK TS10, approx. 3 seconds to 300\u00b0C are possible with a 1.6 mm tip. Temperature measurement directly in the tip supports precise control and fast reheating even in demanding applications. An integrated thermocouple provides real-time temperature monitoring during operation.<\/p>\n
In addition, the tip includes an integrated chip that can store the individual calibration value. When the tip is used again, this value remains available and supports reliable and reproducible temperature indication at the station. Due to its broad chisel geometry, this tip is primarily intended for heavier and heat-intensive soldering work. For very fine electronics work, small pads or delicate SMD solder joints, narrower tip shapes are usually the better choice.<\/p>\n
