Antenna Mast Mounting Set for Ø 38–60 mm Masts – Brick-Red Rubber Collar, Without Roof Flashing

The AS49050 is a mounting set designed for securing an antenna mast to a suitable roof or rafter structure.

The set is intended for mast diameters between 38 and 60 mm and includes a mast base, universal mast clamp, four wood screws, a brick-red UV-resistant rubber collar and a UV-resistant mast cap.

A roof flashing tile is explicitly not included.

This makes the AS49050 particularly suitable as a repair or extension set when a compatible roof penetration is already installed or selected separately.

Package contents

The set includes:

1 × brick-red rubber collar for Ø 38–60 mm masts

1 × mast base for masts up to Ø 60 mm

1 × universal mast clamp for Ø 38–60 mm

1 × UV-resistant mast cap

4 × 8 × 50 mm wood screws

Suitable for Ø 38–60 mm antenna masts

Typical compatible mast diameters may include:

Ø 38 mm

Ø 42 mm

Ø 48 mm

Ø 50 mm

Ø 60 mm

Compatibility between mast, mast base, clamp and separate roof penetration should be checked before installation.

Mast base and universal clamp

The mast base provides a lower mechanical fixing point.

The additional universal clamp provides a second support point and helps guide the mast.

Final structural performance depends on:

mast material

mast wall thickness

support spacing

free mast projection

antenna weight

antenna wind area

roof structure

Galvanised steel components

According to the available product data, the mast base, mast clamp and screws are manufactured from galvanised steel.

Four wood screws included

The package includes four 8 × 50 mm wood screws.

Their suitability for the actual timber structure should be checked before installation.

Brick-red UV-resistant rubber collar

The supplied rubber collar is designed for mast diameters between Ø 38 and 60 mm.

It supports the weather-protected connection between the mast and a suitable separately installed roof flashing.

The collar alone does not constitute a complete waterproof roof penetration.

UV-resistant mast cap

The mast cap closes the top of an open antenna tube and reduces direct ingress of rain, dirt and foreign objects.

Roof flashing required separately

A suitable roof penetration component is required in addition to this set.

Depending on the roof, this may include:

brick-red aluminium roof flashing

lead roof flashing

another suitable mast penetration component

Typical applications

The AS49050 may be used for:

satellite antennas

DVB-T/T2 antennas

DAB/DAB+ antennas

FM antennas

combined antenna systems

repair or modernisation of existing roof mast installations
