Complete Roof Mast Installation Set for Ø 50 mm Antenna Masts – Brick Red

The AS44550 is a complete installation set designed for mounting and routing a Ø 50 mm antenna mast through a pitched tiled roof.

The set combines mechanical mast support components with a brick-red aluminium roof flashing, sealing collar and mast cap.

According to the available product data, the set is specifically intended for antenna masts with an outside diameter of 50 mm.

Complete installation set

The package includes:

1 × brick-red aluminium roof flashing tile, 450 × 500 mm

1 × mast clamp for Ø 50 mm

1 × galvanised mast base

galvanised steel fixing hardware

1 × brick-red UV-resistant sealing collar

1 × UV-resistant plastic mast cap

Specifically designed for Ø 50 mm masts

Unlike universal clamps covering a broad diameter range, the AS44550 is intended for Ø 50 mm antenna tubes.

The actual mast diameter should therefore be checked before installation.

Mast base and additional clamp

The mast can be supported at two points using the mast base and the Ø 50 mm clamp.

This supports stable mast guidance and helps reduce unwanted movement.

The final structural performance still depends on mast dimensions, support spacing, antenna size and wind load.

Aluminium roof flashing 450 × 500 mm

The supplied roof flashing measures:

Length: 450 mm

Width: 500 mm

According to the available product data, it combines aluminium with UV-resistant plastic components.

The brick-red finish is particularly suitable for red and terracotta-coloured roof coverings.

Adaptable to many roof tile profiles

The formable aluminium section can be adjusted to many common roof tile contours.

Compatibility should nevertheless be checked against the actual roof profile before installation.

UV-resistant sealing collar

The supplied brick-red sealing collar supports the weather-protected connection between the Ø 50 mm mast and the roof flashing.

Correct seating and proper integration into the roof covering are essential.

UV-resistant mast cap

The mast cap provides a weather-protected upper closure for an open antenna mast and reduces direct ingress of rain, dirt and foreign objects.

Suitable for different antenna systems

Typical applications include:

satellite antennas

DVB-T/T2 antennas

DAB/DAB+ antennas

FM antennas

combined antenna systems

Structural considerations

The final mechanical stability depends on:

mast wall thickness

mast length

spacing between support points

free mast projection

antenna weight

antenna wind area

roof structure

fixing hardware

Correct roof integration required

The set supports a weather-protected roof penetration, but proper installation must also include:

correct overlap

controlled rainwater drainage

correct seating of the sealing collar

integration with surrounding roof tiles

consideration of the roofing underlay
