Lead Roof Flashing Repair Set – 400 × 370 mm, for Mast Penetrations up to Ø 60 mm

The AS41900 is a formable roof flashing repair set designed for suitable antenna mast and pipe penetrations through pitched roofs.

According to the available product data, the flashing is manufactured from rolled lead sheet approximately 1.0 mm thick and incorporates a zinc-sheet upstand for the mast penetration.

The overall size is approximately 400 × 370 mm.

The penetration is suitable for mast tubes up to Ø 60 mm, and the product data specifies use on roof pitches up to 56°.

Formable rolled lead sheet

The lead flashing can be shaped to follow many roof tile and roof covering profiles.

This makes the product useful for:

repair work

replacement of damaged mast flashings

new antenna mast penetrations

retrofit installations

Approx. 1.0 mm lead thickness

According to the product information, the rolled lead sheet is approximately:

1.0 mm thick

The material should be formed carefully and should not be repeatedly bent unnecessarily.

400 × 370 mm size

Overall dimensions:

approx. 400 × 370 mm

approx. 40 × 37 cm

The required overlap with the existing roof covering must be checked for the actual roof construction.

Zinc-sheet mast upstand

The zinc-sheet upstand forms the transition between the mast and roof flashing.

It is intended for mast tubes up to:

Ø 60 mm

Roof pitches up to 56°

According to the available product data, the flashing can be used on roof pitches up to:

56°

Actual suitability also depends on the roof covering, overlap and water drainage arrangement.

Weather-protected installation

The product helps create a weather-protected mast penetration when correctly integrated into the roof covering.

It should not be described as universally waterproof independent of installation quality and roof design.

Not a structural mast support

The AS41900 is a roof flashing component only.

It does not support the antenna mast mechanically.

The mast requires a separate suitable structural support such as a roof-rafter mount or other appropriate mast fixing system.

Water drainage must be maintained

The flashing should be integrated so that rainwater continues to flow correctly over the roof covering.

Correct upper, side and lower overlap is essential.

Underlay and secondary roof layers

Where an underlay, under-roof membrane or similar secondary water-management layer is present, that layer must also be treated correctly around the mast penetration.

Lead handling

Lead is a health-relevant material.

Recommended precautions include:

wear suitable protective gloves

wash hands thoroughly after handling

do not eat or drink while working with the material

avoid creating unnecessary dust

avoid dry grinding or similar dust-generating processing

Typical applications

The AS41900 can be used for:

satellite antenna mast penetrations

DVB-T/T2 antenna masts

DAB/DAB+ antenna masts

FM antenna masts

repair of existing roof flashings

retrofit antenna installations

suitable technical pipe penetrations
