Fixing Set with 4 × 8 × 80 mm Screws, Ø 12 mm Wall Plugs and Washers

The AS46007 is a fixing set designed for suitable wall brackets, mast brackets, mounting plates and comparable four-point mounting applications.

The package includes four 8 × 80 mm screws, four Ø 12 mm plastic wall plugs and four galvanised washers.

Complete set for four fixing points

The package contains:

4 × 8 × 80 mm screws

4 × Ø 12 mm plastic wall plugs

4 × galvanised washers

8 × 80 mm screws

According to the available product data, the screws are:

Diameter: 8 mm

Length: 80 mm

Type: DIN 571

Surface: galvanised

Ø 12 mm plastic wall plugs

Four plastic wall plugs with a nominal diameter of 12 mm are included.

The manufacturer of the fixing components has changed. Therefore, previous brand-specific properties of the former plugs are not claimed for the current product.

Suitability must be checked against the actual building material before installation.

Typical applications

The AS46007 may be suitable for:

satellite wall brackets

antenna mast brackets

mounting plates

suitable floor or support brackets

comparable mechanical fixing applications

Substrate must be checked

Different building materials require different fixing solutions.

Examples include:

concrete

solid masonry

hollow bricks

aerated concrete

lightweight construction

insulated façades

The included plugs should therefore not be regarded as a universal fixing solution for every substrate.

Washers included

Four galvanised washers provide an enlarged contact surface underneath the screw heads.

This can be particularly useful with slotted holes or larger mounting holes.

Mechanical loading

The required fixing strength depends on the complete installation.

For satellite wall brackets, important factors include:

wall bracket offset

dish diameter

antenna weight

wind area

installation height

wall construction

Long wall brackets generally create greater leverage on the wall fixing than compact brackets.
