The GALLUNOPTIMAL S1001 is a compact and easy-to-use DVB-S2 satellite receiver for receiving all free-to-air TV and radio channels via satellite, including HD programs in Full HD 1080p. Setup is quick and straightforward thanks to an intuitive, multilingual on-screen menu and a pre-installed channel list for German TV channels. The 4-digit LED display provides clear status information during everyday use.
For maximum compatibility, the receiver offers both HDMI for modern TVs and SCART for older televisions. Audio can be output via the S/PDIF coaxial port to compatible sound systems. An integrated USB 2.0 media player lets you play videos, music, and photos directly from a USB drive (front USB port). Supported formats include MP3, JPG, BMP, AVI, and MKV. Note: this model is without recording function (no PVR).
The S1001 is also suitable for modern single-cable satellite installations: it supports Unicable/DOCS 1 (EN 50494) and Unicable/DOCS 2 (EN 50607). Additional features such as EPG (Electronic Program Guide), teletext, DVB subtitles, sleep timer, channel search, and channel sorting/grouping make daily operation convenient. Power consumption in standby is under 1 watt, and the receiver is powered via the included 12V power supply.
